As with all things, change is inevitable and we’re super excited to announce that we’ve moved to a new location that’s bigger, better, and brighter.
The past two and a half years were spent at an office located at Golden Shoe, and it has served us well – ample space for a team of 18 individuals, with a real pantry and a grass-padded relaxation room.
Though we were happy with it, there were 3 very good reasons to move:
1. Space. When there were 18 of us, space was a given – there was plenty of room for meetings, meals, and naps. As our numbers grew to 33, space became a luxury. With the increased number of square footage at our new office, rethinking our layout became possible and we were able to work more closely together without forfeiting on personal space.
2. Location. We were previously located in Raffles Place and we loved the hustle and bustle of it. But, with frequent train delays, commuting to work can be a pain. With 3 MRT lines located nearby at our new location, many of our colleagues have more flexibility when travelling and you won’t see us doing a 100m-dash to the office after being trapped in a train for more than 10-15 minutes.
3. Necessity. When the notification informing us to vacate our ex-office arrived, it was exactly the push we needed to move on to find a new office space. Since we’ve been growing, this piece of information couldn’t have arrived anytime better.
The years spent at Golden Shoe were good and precious, and we’ll look fondly upon the memories made there. However, a brand-new chapter in our history starts with the move, and we’re excited to see how much further we can go. We’d also like to take this chance to thank everyone for their support – without them, we wouldn’t be who we are now.
